"Nice place here."
Jack absolutely did not squeak in alarm as he jerked away from a voice that had suddenly appeared beside him, a voice that definitely should not be there.
"Anti what the fuck!"he hissed. "What are you doing here? I told you to stay at the hotel!"
Anti nodded in agreement. "You did." He rubbed his stained hands together eagerly, looking the house up and down. "So who are we saying 'hi' to?"
Jack placed himself firmly between the demon and the door, his arms crossed and his voice stern. "It's who I am saying 'hi' to. You are leaving. Now."
Anti laughed, rocking back-and-forth on his heels, hands on his hips. "Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack Jack." He shook his head in mock admonishment. "Your place is so boring; you never even leave except for meetings and groceries. I've been itching to see somewhere new. And they have a swimming pool." He gave Jack a pitying expression, but when he spoke, there was a stubborn edge beneath the amusemen
